sage is alive is an emogaze band from Charlottesville, Virginia. Made up of guitarist/vocalists Isabel Xiao and Tucker Ferrell with a rotating drummer and bassist, their shared love of noise, post-hardcore, and emo comes to life through sage.

Blending walls of textured guitars with vulnerable songwriting and dynamic live performances, the band draws from the emotional weight of emo, the atmosphere of shoegaze, and the urgency of post-hardcore to create a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. Whether on stage or in the studio, sage is alive embraces contrast to create music that resonates with listeners looking for authenticity over polish.
